Colleen Coble does it again with a fabulous story. I loved Twilight at Blueberry Barrens.
Kate’s character was my favorite because she’d endured so much. She’s a fighter. Never willing to just give up, she’s overcoming illness and family tragedy. If only she could allow herself to be loved.
Drake’s moved to town to solve his brother and sister-in-law’s murders. He doesn’t agree with the findings and murder/suicide determination. Caring for his two nieces, Drake has become an instant father. He’s got a successful business, but no love in his life. He hires Kate to be his nanny for the summer only to find out she not only knows about the murders, but was one of the first on scene.
Kate is being stalked by someone who has no boundaries. And both Kate and Drake have an enemy they’re not aware of.
Twilight at Blueberry Barrens has it all. Drama. Romance and of course, suspense. It’s a great addition to the Sunset Cove series. I received the book from the Fiction Guild and have provided my honest opinion here.
