The Forgotten Recipe is a good story of love and nostalgia in true Amish Fiction mode. Although I found it to be somewhat clichéd in the premise and portions of the plot, it kept my interest. The hero and heroine have a connection that’s realistic, and the progression of the relationship is realistic. My biggest concern with this novel is the amount of repetition and often-used plot set-ups.
I give it 3 stars.
I received The Forgotten Recipe from The Fiction Guild and Zondervan Publishing in exchange for my honest opinion.
