The Goodbye Bride? More like Hello Drama, Mysteries and Romance. Â The Goodbye Bride was a phenomenal novel by Denise Hunter that I could not put down!
Lucy Lovett wakes up in a diner bathroom in a wedding dress, engaged to a man she does not know, and unable to remember the last seven months of her life. Zac Callahan is the fiancé Lucy left behind those seven months ago. It’s something Lucy does not remember and Zac cannot forget. When Lucy asks for Zac’s help in piecing together her past, Zac is put in a difficult position. Following his heart could mean disaster all over again.
I loved this book. From the very first page a wonderful tale was woven together. Ms Hunter kept my focus the entire length of the story. I loved the characters and their personalities. They seemed so real to me. I loved the setting and the plot as well. I look forward to reading the rest of the series and the rest of Ms Hunter’s books.
I received this book from the Fiction Guild and Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for my honest review which I’ve provided here.
